Lauren Stikeleather

Coordinator for Faculty-Led Programs

A Charlotte native, Lauren began working for the Office of Education Abroad in January 2019.  She completed B.A.s in Art History and Spanish Language & Literature at Agnes Scott College, where she studied abroad on a faculty-led program in Spain and a semester exchange program in Mexico.  After graduation she worked in Costa Rica for a year, where she discovered a love of teaching which eventually led her to Japan.  From 2011 to 2018 she taught in Tokyo, taking a break to complete a Master of International Studies with a concentration in International Education Administration at NC State University.  Now that she has returned home, she looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for study abroad and international engagement with the UNCC community!
