Faculty Workshop: Enhance Your Study Abroad Course with Globally Networked Learning

Session Description
This workshop is for UNC Charlotte faculty members in any department who are interested in enhancing their course content through international virtual programming. First, learn about the Office of International Program’s Globally Networked Learning (GNL) initiative, in which faculty members work with overseas partners to integrate collaborative online learning into their on-campus classes. Through GNL, you can offer your students the chance for meaningful global experiences in a cost-effective manner. Following the introduction to GNL, you will have the opportunity to hear directly from two representatives of the CEPA Foundation, a non-profit organization which facilitates study abroad and virtual experiences in Europe. Learn about their programming options and discover new ways to engage your students and help them grow into global citizens.
