As you navigate the logistics of preparing for your experience, don't forget to spend some time learning as much as you can about your destination! You don't need to be an expert, but the more familiar you are with the basic

  • Etiquette

  • Time-keeping customs
  • Other cultural customs

the more prepared you will be for potential differences, the more you will be able to connect with locals and appreciate your location, and the more enriching your experience will be!
